In this blog, we will talk about a lot of the easy things you need to that are sometimes really time-consuming. Now and days it seems like EVERYONE wants to start a business (and I think they should.) But this thought can be sometimes really overwhelming so I am creating this blog to help you put the pieces together. Most of the things I am telling you is necessary regardless of your niche.
Now that you have your website up and it is looking FABULOUS! We need to start having some process and procedures to generate income.

FREEBIE.
A freebie is a course, download, one on one session or something of value that a stranger will think is worth the exchange of their email address. Freebies are how you build your mailing list. Mailing list are important because that is how you are able to sell to a direct audience. Let me put it this way, people buy from who they know and like. The mailing list is a way for you to get people to know and like you.
Let’s Talk About How You Are Going To Make Money!
I suggest to start out with MailChimp because they have a Forever Free Plan. This means that it is free until you reach 2,000 subscribers. Which is great because it is one less expense you have to worry about.
If you are having issues selling something FREE then it is time to go to the drawing board and be critical of yourself when it comes to copy, tone and selling without sounding to salesy.

EMAIL.
Now that you are aware of the importance of email marketing now let me break down some of the platforms that are really popular.
Mail Chimp If you are just starting out and don’t want to spend any money they have a Forever Free plan that is no cost to you until you have reached 2,000 subscribers.
ConvertKit Convert kit is known for their segmenting ability in the email lists. I hear nothing but good things for those that invest in Convertkit and know so many people that use this. Plans start at $29.00.
SERVICES & PRODUCTS.
Figuring out how to make money is IMPORTANT! So please take your time with this. THINK about how you are going to make money and what your pillars are going to be. What are you trying to be a Walmart, Target or a Luxury Brand? What services are you going to order? One thing that really helps with me is to think of the packages in terms of what I will provide. What are the results that you will get from purchasing my services? My most expensive package is a ‘business in a box.’ I list all the things we will do during this package and that allows people to identify with what problems they want to solve and where they want to take their business.
What products are you going to provide that compliment your brand? Will you be selling shirts, notebooks, pens or pillows?
Will you have a membership program or subscription box?
COURSES + AUDIO/VISUAL.
Online courses are very useful to most people. It allows you to make money while you sleep. You can put blood, sweat, and tears one time and you will benefit over and over again.

Affiliate Links.
Big numbers come with big links and big rewards. All the big money bloggers use affiliate links so the quicker you jump on the Affiliate Link train the better. The key is to find products and services that compliment your blog and your niche. Here are a few affiliate programs to start.
Amazon: Arguably one of the most popular online platforms has an affiliate program where you can promote anything from clothes to household items to technical tools you can find something to promote. Amazon recently rolled out their Influencer Program. The original program is still available at Amazon Affiliate.
Shareasale.com: Once you sign up you can browse companies and apply to be an affiliate. You know ahead of time how much you get per sale.
