Mission: The No Bully Zone helps students identify bullies and bullying behaviors and provides effective strategies for coping and dealing with bullying. The program will help students recognize where bullying takes place and why. It shows students a process to take control of the situation themselves by first teaching how to identify the bully, the victim and the bystander in a bullying situation. It also explains the consequences of being a bully.
Fact: Bullying leads to depression, low self-esteem, health problems, poor grades and even suicidal thoughts. In addition, bullying creates an environment where students have trouble learning, feel insecure, and dislike school.
